Joseph J. Devine

Joseph J. Devine is a Member of Spector Gadon Rosen Vinci P.C., and Chair of its Corporate Law Group. He devotes much of his practice to representing entrepreneurs and growth businesses in a variety of industries. In his 30 years of practice, he has represented public and privately held companies, as well as investors, in a wide range of corporate and business transactional matters, including mergers and acquisitions, equity and debt offerings, securities law compliance, credit facilities, private equity and venture capital, and governance.
Mr. Devine is admitted to the bars of Pennsylvania and New Jersey. He is a member of the American Bar Association. Mr. Devine was named as a Pennsylvania Super Lawyer for securities and venture finance law in 2004 and 2006.
Mr. Devine holds a J.D., cum laude, from Temple University Beasley School of Law, a M.S., Finance from Loyola University Maryland and a B.S., Finance, magna cum laude, from LaSalle University.
Mr. Devine has served as an adjunct professor at the University of Pennsylvania Law School where he has taught on emerging business transactional skills.
Mr. Devine sits as the Vice Chairman of the Board of Communities in Schools of Philadelphia, Inc., a nonprofit corporation that provides academic and social support to public school students in the Greater Philadelphia area. He is also a member of the Springfield Township Planning Commission, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania.
