John T. Asher, III


John T. Asher, III is a member in the firm’s Insurance and Casualty Litigation Practice Group where he handles a wide range of litigation matters involving premises liability, auto liability, real estate litigation, landlord-tenant litigation and commercial litigation. Mr. Asher handles litigation matters from inception through trial, as well as any appeals which may arise. Mr. Asher has several appellate decisions, including Tameru v. W-Franklin, LP, 2009 U.S. App. Lexis 23724 (3d Cir. 2009); Aquilino v. The Philadelphia Catholic Archdiocese, 2005 Pa. Super 339, 884 A.2d 1269 (2005), and Franchi v. Tschop, 883 A.2d 698 (Pa. Super. 2005).

Mr. Asher is a member of the American Bar Association.  Mr. Asher is also a member of the National Restaurant & Retail Defense Association, the Claims & Litigation Management Alliance and Citizens Diplomacy International, formerly International Visitors Council.

Mr. Asher is admitted to the bars of Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Florida. He is also admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the Eastern and Middle Districts of Pennsylvania, the United States District Court of New Jersey, the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit.  Mr. Asher received his J.D. from Villanova Law School, and his B.A. with cum laude honors from the University of South Carolina.
