Prior to joining the St. Petersburg office, Ms. Myers was an Assistant State Attorney in Tampa, Florida. She prosecuted high profile and complex criminal cases including homicide, drug trafficking, arson, theft, robbery, burglary, and firearm offenses. In addition, she was assigned to the sex crimes unit where she handled cases involving child and elder abuse and neglect. During her nearly ten year career as a prosecutor, she tried over 120 jury trials to verdict. She was assigned to the Multi-Agency Gang Task Force and assisted in numerous investigations of violent crimes and the execution of search warrants. She left the State Attorney’s Office to pursue civil litigation and, in 2017, established her own law firm, where she specialized in criminal defense and family law matters. She is also a Florida Supreme Court Certified Family Law Mediator.
