Spector Gadon Rosen Vinci LLP (SGRV) has announced that Matthew R. Shindell has joined the firm as a Member in the Commercial Litigation, Health Care Law & Litigation and Insurance Coverage & Casualty Litigation Groups.
Shindell focuses his practice on the defense of medical malpractice claims against physicians, nurses, medical practice groups, hospitals, long-term care facilities and community clinics. He also defends complex liability claims involving consumer products and industrial equipment, and routinely handles complex commercial litigation cases.
Shindell is admitted to practice in both Pennsylvania and New Jersey. Additionally, he is admitted to the U.S. District Courts of Pennsylvania’s Eastern, Middle and Western districts, the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit.
Shindell received a J.D. from the Widener University School of Law and a B.S. from the University of Maryland at College Park.
Shindell is a member of the Defense Research Institute (DRI), the National Association of Manufacturers and the Claims and Litigation Management Alliance. He is a Fellow of the ABOTA National Trial College, and a Judge of Elections for Montgomery County, Pennsylvania – Whitemarsh Middle. Shindell is an avid writer, and regularly submits articles for legal, consumer and trade publications on topics pertaining to his areas of expertise.
